The work presents results of research dealing with the influence of shade degree, total precipitation depth and average annual temperature on the above-ground and below-ground biomass production of the Rubus idaeus and Rubus hirtus species in the Ecological-Experimental Station (EES) in Kremnicke vrchy Hills (Slovak Republic). The most intensive influence was observed in the light factor, the least intensive in average annual temperature
