1997
Kovacik, J. | Valent, M.
A level of macroelements in the blood serum and urine of dairy cows during lactation and under different feed conditions was examined. A tendency towards lower levels of calcium from 1 through 14 weeks of lactation was found when a stabilized diet of winter type was used. The content of sodium in serum and in urine was higher at the beginning of lactation that at the end. The reduction in inorganic phosphorus was detected in the blood serum in week 8 of lactation, subsequently followed by an increase during 10 to 12 weeks. The content of magnesium in serum and urine was balanced during the whole estimated period of lactation
