Replacing of mineral pressure media in hydraulic systems of forest machines by ecological pressure media

Results of a study aimed at replacing currently used mineral hydraulic pressure media by new ecological media based on rape are presented. This study is a part of the system of ecologization of works in the forestry of Slovakia aimed at maximal reduction of unfavourable effect of forest machines on the environment. The results of the tests of the compatability of packing materials of ESSEL hydraulic arms with ten tested media of domestic and foreign origin as well as the results of stand testing of these media in selected linear hydromotors of forest machines are presented
