Synchronization of ovulation and fertility in adult gilts after progesterone application

Thirty gilts were divided into 5 groups according to the scheme of hormonal treatment. The groups differed in amount and time of application of hormonal preparations Agolutin, Sugonal and Remophan. The highest ovulation rate (83.3%) was noticed in groups with Agolutin combined with Sugonal (Group D), or Sugonal only (Group E). The most embryos (75.5% and 69%, resp.) were also gained and the greatest viability of embryos (100.0% and 91.0%, resp.) were noticed in these groups. Total weight of both ovaries was also the highest (15.4 and/or 14.6 g)
