The effect of seasonal composition of feeding rations on urea content and on correlations in blood serum, urine, and milk in dairy cows during 32 weeks of lactation was investigated. Nutrition was proven to be a predominant factor, able to cover an effect of metabolic intensity, in particular lactation phases. The highest variability was in the relation of urea in blood serum and milk (ranging from r = -0.44 in the 6th week to r = 0.92 in the 16th week) as well as of urea in blood serum and urine (ranging from r = -0.48 in the 28th week to r = 0.96 in the 16th week). A similar tendency occurred in relations of urea in milk and urine, oscillating from r = -0.45 in the 2nd week to r = 0.88 in the 16th week
