Folates - biologicaly active derivates of pantothenic acid - play an important role as coenzymes in the synthesis of RNA and DNA, proteins and essential aminoacids. The meaning of pantothenic acid and derivates in nutrition, occurrence in foodstuffs and milk, processing of foodstuffs with effect on decreasing acid in foods, and influence of insufficiency on human body was studied
