Variability of some important pomological properties has been investigated among cherry plum genotypes from natural population in the mt. Avala region (Serbia, Yugoslavia). Sixteen different genotypes were selected and investigated in this paper. Fruit ripening time of investigated genotypes varied in interval about 15 days. Considering fruit skin colour, dominant genotypes are those with red and yellow colour. In addition to the noticed differences in those two properties, based on the results of analysis of variance, very significant differences were found for the rest of characteristics as well (fruit height, fruit width, fruit weight, stone weight, randman, fruit stem length, soluble dry matter content).
