The importance of two-phase mixing in premix production

The system and the time of the technological procedure for premix production were investigated in this work. The comparison was mode between the mixing times of 15, 20 and 25 minutes with monophase mixing and 20 minutes with two-phase mixing system in a countercurrent mixer. The results showed that any of times investigated were not satisfactory with monophase system of mixing, and as for two phase system, the mixing time of 20 minutes gave good results with the coefficient of variation of micro-ingredients mixing in the premix lower than 5, it was in fact 3.55
