Winter wheat weed community in the Kosmaj region [Serbia, Yugoslavia]

On the basis of the investigations on floristic composition and morphology of the weed association in the winter wheat of the Kosmaj region (Serbia, Yugoslavia) the following conclusion are made: In winter wheat crop of the Kosmaj region weed association: Consolido-Polygonetum aviculare is present Kojic et all. 1973 which belongs to alliance Caucalion lappulae Tx. 1950, order Centyauretalia cyany Tx., Lohm. et Prsg. 1950 and class Stellarietea mediae Tx. Lohm. et Prsg. 1950. In the floristic composition of this association 64 weed species are present, which belong to the characteristic combination of species. The association has terrophytic character with high presence of geophytes and hemicryptophytes.
