In our investigations five genotypes of forage pea, i.e. NS-Junior, Moravac, and TI, as well as aphyllous Jezero and GG were analyzed for the their stem height, internode length, stipule and leaf with tendril area size, tendril length, legume length, number and size of stomata of leaflets and stipules, pigment chloroplast content, photosynthesis and transpiration rate, and yield components. With regard to the morphological characteristics, the highest genotypic variability has founded in plant height. An NS-Junior genotype has characterized by the highest, whereas Jezero the lowest stem. Aphyllous genotypes have a greater area size of leaf stipules. Stomata number is greater on the abaxial epidermis of leaflets and stipules. Genotype TI has characterized by distinguishable highest number and very large stomata. Chloroplast pigment content and photosynthesis and transpiration rate are lower in aphyllous genotypes. Legume length and number of grains are low variability traits. Genotype GG has highest fresh and dry mass, number of grains per legume and grain yield.
