Evaluation of sprinklers performance at fincha valley

The performance of sprinklers was evaluated by varying the operating pressure and the number of sprinklers. On a 585 meter long lateral pipe, pressure at the hydrant was set to 4.5 bar and 3.0 bars. Data on nozzle discharge and pressure were collected at different sprinkler points on the lateral using 11 and 16 sprinklersThe result showed that variation in discharge and operating pressure of the sprinkler nozzles along the lateral were below 20 percent and 10 percent respectively in the case of the 11 sprinklers, but both were higher than the above figures in the case of the 16 sprinklers.
