Effect of quality of plant material and K fertilization on growth and K nutrition of young prune trees
1997
Scibisz, K. (Warsaw Agricultural University, Poland)
Two different types of prune trees: winter grafted and budded in the nursery were grown on the plots fertilized with different doses of potassium since 1979. In the first year, the growth of grafted trees was stronger than of the budded ones. In the second year, the differences disappeared. K doses influenced the available soil K and leaf K content. No symptoms of K defficiency were found in the first two years of observation. K fertilization did not influence growth of prune trees
