Incidence and spread of races of barley net blotch, barley scald, oat crown rust and wheat stripe rust in Estonia

The sets of differential genotypes to distinguish races of four major diseases in cereals (net blotch and scald on barley, crown rust on oats and stripe rust on wheat) were used in 1997 and 1998 in six locations and years was recorded. The highest degree of resistance across the all locations and years showed following genotypes: Pc39, Pc58, Pc59, Pc60, Pc61 and Pc68 to oat crown rust, 'Algerian' and line 'Atrada' x 'Atlas' to scald, 'Coast' and 'Prato' to net blotch and 'Vilmorin 23', 'Moro', 'Peko', 'Peko', 'Gaby', 'Suvon' x 'Omar', Triticum spelta var. album and T. dicoccoides to wheat stripe rust
