Problem of Mechanization in Villages
1999
Dvali, I. | Abalaki, G. (Department of Agroengineering Services, Ministry of Food and Agriculture (Georgia))
Nowadays mechanization is in extremely difficult situation. Rural engineering and technical services are almost non-existent. The lack of machinery spare parts and technical services create serious constraints in the course of agricultural activities. Use of agricultural machinery is also limited by the fact, that the land reform has been implemented in a prompt manner and without proper considerations, that contributed to the fragmentationof large land parcels. Ongoing reforms will not give desired results without development of the sphere of engineering and technical provision. This branch requires eleboration of respective program and serious state support.
