Over 1993-1997 trials were carried out of completed investigations companing the development and productivity of 12 seed-grass species on the 7-year-monobackground. The formed soil and effect of seed-grasses were tested for four year. After summarizing the test data, it became clear, that soil humus chemical composition and biological activity differed in the old stands of various seed-grasses species. The soil 'fatique' was tendentiously reflected by the differences of the seed-grass species grown on the soil and soil allelopathic activity.
