[Influence of different mating warps and breeding values of parents on bull testing results]

In 1996-1997, pedigree and breeding value data were analysed for 170 black-and-white and 117 red bulls that were tested in 1985-1995. All the bulls tested by daughter-herdmate comparison for production method. The groups of the bulls tested were compared by estimating mean differences for milk production, milk fat and protein content, fat and protein production of daughters and herdmates and also other biometrical parameters. The study indicated that more valuable bulls were obtained by close inbreeding. The breeding value of parents had no significant influence on the bull testing results.
