[The capture of Cydia caryana (Fitch) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) with pherome traps and the relationship with the phenology of pecan wees] | Captura de Cydia caryana (Fitch) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidac) con trampas de feromona y su relacion con la fenologia del nogal pecanero

إنجليزي. The dynamic of capture of C.caryana adults shown a bimodal pattern. There was a couple of population peaks; one in April-May and the other in September-Octuber. In June, July, and the first two weeks of August the density of capture was lowand it did not explain sufficiendy the relation between the presence of the insect and the level of damage caused in this period. There was a bigh density of the insect during two phenological phases of the pecan fruit when it is not susceptible to be attacked by the insect. These phases were postpommtion and shuck opening. Sampling fallen nuts through the summer allowed to identify the phenology of C caryana at that time, and includingthe fruits in cages, was very useful to follow the dynamic of emergence of adults. The pecan variety Wichita was more susceptible to the attack of this insect that the Western variety. Additionaly, it was found a positive correlation between bigger number of adults captured in autumn and the presence of larvae in picked nuts

الأسبانية؛ قشتالية. La dinamica de captura de adultos de C. Caryana exhibio un patron bimodal: un pico poblacional en abril-mayo y otro en septiembre-octubre. En junio, julio y la primera quincena de agosto, la densidad de captura fue baja y no explico la presencia de la plaga en relacion con el dano que causo en ese periodo. El insecto se presento en densidades altas en dos fases fenologicas en que el fruto del nogal no es susceptible a su ataque: en pospolinizacion y apertura de ruezno. El muestreo de nuez caida en el verano permitio ubicar la fonologia de C. caryana en dicha epoca, y la inclusion en jaulas de dichos frutos fue util para seguir una dinamica de emergencia de adultos. La variedad de nogal Wichita resulto mas susceptible al ataque de este insecto que la Western. Se encontro una relacion significativa entre el mayor numero de adultos capturados en el otono y la presencia de larvas en el ruezno de la nuez cosechada
