Supplementation of semen with PGFsub2alpha (50 mg/mL) and oxytocin (2 IU/mL) on survivability of spermatozoa with and without seminal plasma at 37 deg C was studied in milk egg-yolk-glycerol (MEYG) extender. Statistical analysis exhibited that addition of PGFsub2alpha in whole semen has a beneficial effect on survivability. Removal of seminal plasma showed highly beneficial effect on the survivability of spermatozoa as compared to whole semen, however, the addition of PGFsub2alpha or oxytocin in semen without seminal plasma had non-significant effect. From the present study it may be concluded that removal of seminal plasma and addition of PGFsub2alpha is beneficial for buffalo bull semen at 37 deg C
