The genus Halys Fabr. has been classified by Abbasi and Ahmed (1976) and Ahmed and Parveen (1985) from Pakistan, and Chopra (1974) from India. Their phylogenatic works was based on external morphology including the structure of genitalia. The present investigation includes the two species viz H. dentatus and H. qadrii. the status of the above texa were also confirmed presently on the basis of the internal anatomy. For the study of internal anatomy, the specimens were collected from Acacia arabica and Azadirachta indica. After the dissections were made, the diagram were prepared with the help of squared eye piece graticule under binocular microscope. Internal anatomical character of H. dentatus and H. qadrii were found to be exclusively different. The present findings also confirmed the conclusion made by Ahmed and Khanum (1968), with regards accessary glands of scent apparatus that, varied in different species. It is therefore suggested that the internal anatomical characters similar to the external morphological character also separate the closely related taxa.
