Zeolites are hydrated crystal aluminosilicates mostly of mono or bivalent alkali metals e.g.: K, Na, Li, Cd, Ba. Adding zeolites to soil reduced considerably content of heavy metals in green mass and seeds. Zeolites can be used as carriers of pesticides and micronutrients, they can absorb kalium and ammonium ions and successively release them to soil solution. They control soil moisture and pH. Zeolites are used to purify water out of ammonia. Very good effects are obtained by adding zeolites to animals foodstuff. Zeolites can be utilised in detoxification of the useless pesticides. According to our studies it was found that detoxification can take course in two ways: strong absorption of toxic substance and through decomposition to non-toxic products
