In 3 years field experiment the plant productivity and dynamics of seed desiccation of Juno and Radames cultivars of yellow lupin harvested in a week intervals in a one- or two-stage way beginning on 7 days after flowering were observed. Hydrothermic conditions in the course of generative period of development did have significant effect on the number of pods per plant, and sum of rainfalls during vegetation period affected also mass of seeds per plant and per pod. Radames cultivar had shorter generative period and higher rate of maturation and seed desiccation than Juno cultivar. The dry mass of 20 days-old seeds of both cultivars harvested in a two-stage way was higher by almost 100 percent than seeds threshed in the day of harvest. In the course of generative period the ash content in seeds of both cultivars decreased and fat content increased. The share of protein and fiber in seeds did not change in that period
