The paper presents the distribution of the areas polluted with oil and salty water depending on degrees of loading with pollutants, extracting derricks, at counties and country levels in Romania. Various aspects are taken into account, such as: the size of the intensity of pollution and the prevalence of the three pollution types (with oil, salty water and mixed pollution) at the counties and country levels. The author emphasises that mixed pollution is the most extended. The conclusion is that the degrees of loading with strong and very strong pollutant are prevailing.
