[Comparison of two sugar beet varieties performance at BNYVV infected stand]

The growing of sugar beet susceptible variety to Rhizomania infected soils with BNYVV was investigated. It was ascertained, that in observed period, the yield of roots was decreased by 27.00-41.62%, sugar content was decreased by 11.76-23.81% it dependens to temperature and sum of raifall during vegetation. Because of increased content of ash there was decreased the recovery of white sugar by 13.40-35.62%. The yield of polarized sugar was lower by 35.14-55.79%. The most important parameter - yield of white sugar, as a result of growing susceptible variety to Rhizomania (Ibis) in infected conditions with virus BNYVV, was lower by 36.30-62.90%, comparing with tolerant variety to Rhizomania (Monriz)
