Researches on the application possibilities of the soil solarization studies in the control of root knot nematode (Meloidogyne spp.), problem for the vegetables grown in Aegean Region

In soil sterilization studies done in the experiment plots of the Institute of Manisa-Salihli Ege Konservecilik Sanayii A.I. and of Foia Aiik Cezaevi in 1992, 93 and 95, 4,6 and 8 weeks covering periods were comparatively evaluated with the plots. According to the experiment results, 4 weeks covering was found 61.7%, 76%, and 91% effective, respectively 6 weeks covering was found 59.8 %, 91 %, and 100 % effective, respectively 6 weeks covering was found 59.8 %, 91 %, and 100 % effective, respectively, 8 weeks covering was found 80 %, 90 %, and 100 % effective, respectively also the treated plot was respectively found 66.6, 89 %, and 100 % effective
