Effect of water and substrate culture on fruit quality of tomatoes grow under greenhouse

Present studies were carried out to investigate the effect of hydroponic and substrate types of soilless culture on fruit quality of tomato variety "(Gokce f1)" under greenhouse conditions during 1996-1997. Flowing water culture, a type of water culture was implied by using 6 meters long PCc pipes having a diameter of 16 cm Pot filled with peat-perlite in ratio of 3:1 and pumice were used as types of substrate culture quality characters like average fruit weight, average fruit diameter, 1st, 2nd, 3rd grade fruit yield, TDS and acidity percentage were determined.
