Period of highest antibody titer against venom after booster shot in horses

Twenty five crossbred hourses aged 6-10 years were equally divided into 5 treatment groups. Each group was single booster shot with 40 mg Cobra venom, 40 mg King Cobra venom, 40 mg Bandet Krait venom, 70 mg Malayan Pit Viper venom and 70 mg Russell's Viper venom. Before and after booster shot, serum samples were collected every day for 11 days (0-10 days). All sera were tested for antibody titer by neutralization test, after booster shot in horses with Cobra venom, King Cobra venom, Bandet Krait venom, Malayan Pit Viper venom and Russell's Viper venom gave highest antibody titer of 1.87, 1.20, 2.40, 5.59 and 2.56 mg/5 ml at 8-9, 5-7, 7, 2-6 and 9 days respectively.
