Herbal mixture consisted of Curcuma domestica Yaleton, Strephania votunda, Areca catechu L. and Diospyros mollis in ratio 1:1:1:1. The mixture, in mash form, was used to get rid egg worms in native chicks. It was contained in capsule form and in pitch of banana, each piece of banana measuring 2 centimeters. Piperazine was used as control treatment. This experiment was a Completely Randomized Design with 5 batchs, each batch had 4 replications, and each replication had 3 chicks. Sixty native chicks were used. The result was not significant in the quantity of egg worms in 1 capsule, 2 capsules and piperazine batch but it was significant in the banana batchs. This contrasted with the effect of Curcuma domestica Yaleton, Strephania votunda, and Areca catechu L. in ratio 2:2:1 which was less effective than piperazine batch.
