[Medicago Scutellata (L.) Miller - a prospective forage plant]

Detailed characteristics of the forage plant Medicago scutellata (L.) Miller is given. The plant has a number of advantages: it produces tender digestable green mass, is highly drought resistant and seed-productive. The conclusion is provided that it is an evolutionary young and plastical species which should be recommended for plant breeding studies
