This paper deals the research of runoff and water quality in the Zapadna Morava watershed. This watershed is situated in a hilly-mountainous region in central Serbia (Yugoslavia). The researched watershed of Gvozdacka river, right tributary of the river Ibar, was divided into small watersheds and hydrological stations were established. Runoff and water quality was monitored in different ecological conditions of designated micro units, and the analysed parameters refer to the period of research 1985-1996.
