Newly introduced table grape cultivars in Fruska Gora [Serbia, Yugoslavia]

Twentynewly introduced table grape cultivars were examined in ampelographic collection in Sremski Karlovci (Yugoslavia). The country of origine, genetic origine and year of introduction of the cultivars are presented in table (1). Agronomical characteristics according to yielding potential and grape quality at harvest time are presented in table (2), too. The tests of resistance to low temperatures conducted over several years consisted of exposing cuttings of annual shoots to low temperatures in cold chamber three times each winter, following the uniform method and time in order to be able to distinguish relative differences between the cultivars tested (graph 1, 2, 3). As control were used Csaba gyoengye, Chasselas blanc and Muscat Hamburg.
