The technology of fertilizer application used in practice creates conditions for an ammonium type of nitrogenous nutrition of tomatoes which contradicts their physiological character. The ammonium type of nitrogenous nutrition causes Mg-deficit in the plants and entry of anions there (sulfates, chlorides, nitrates, molybdates) usally in toxic amounts.Chlorosis, considered in the practice as magnesium one, appears as a result of sulfate sulphur accumulation in the tissue between the veins of the tomato leaves.
