Data of microfield researches on organic fertilizer influence on chromium accumulation by corn and barley are given. It is established that the chromium uptake in crops grows at the increase of levels of soil pollution by the given metal and depends of their biological features. The most positive result on chromium accumulation decrease by corn at both levels of soil pollution by chromium (100 and 300 mg/kg) was received at the application of 90 t/ha of peat-manure compost. The reduction of chromium accumulation in a barley grain under influence of the maximum organic fertilizer dose was marked only at the soil pollution by this element on level 300 mg/ha
