The simulation models for the development of squares/bolls and yield formation

Based on cotton physiological and ecological factors and the thoughts of "Rice Clock Model", simulation models for the development of cotton squares and bolls, boll weight and yield were built. Testing results showed that capacity of cotton per plant had positive relation to LAI of fruit branch significantly. Standard error (SE) of boll number was 0.4 per plant while for the unginned cotton yield model it was 337.11 kg/hm2 (average relative error was 3.89 percent)
