The article summarises the forms of chlamydiosis in calves: enteral infection, respiratoric infection and pneumonia, polyarthitis-serositis, sporadic encephalomyelitis, keratoconjuctivitis, infection of the placenta and the fetus, abortion. The case history (following the review) demonstrates an outbreak of the disease characterised by digestive, respiratory and locomotory signs what occured among 3-6-week-old Holstein-Friesian cross calves in a Hungarian herd.
