In the manufacturing tapioca, the industry produces solid wastes, cassava rind, dregs, and lindur. The objects of this research are the cassava rind and the dregs because the lindur can be sold with higher price than tapioca. Based on the examination known that the proportion of the cassava rind to the dregs is 1 : 5.405. For biological examination, observation is done about 3 weeks, with 4 periods of treatment, and each period is repeated 3 times. Each step 3 broiler chicks, in the starter period, are used to compare the basal feed with the food which consists of tapioca industrial waste in 3 stages, i.e: the substitution of corn 20 percent, 15 percent, 10 percent. The result of the biological examination is to see the influence of the use of tapioca industrial waste to performances: 1. The influence of food to the consumption. The result of various investigations shows that the different influence between the use of tapioca industrial waste and basal feed is much (p'0.5); 2. The influence of food to the increase in weight. The use of 15 percent tapioca industrial waste in the food stuff will relatively not give bad effect. 3. The influence of treatment to the food conversion. The use of tapioca industrial waste really affects the food conversion, but tends to be more efficient. From the economical consideration shows that the use of tapioca industrial waste can reduce cost about Rp. 51.00 per kg of basal feed of starter
