[Weed diversity on sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas Lamk.): at and after planting]

Weed diversity research on growth of sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas Lamk.) at and after planting were conducted at Wangunjaya village, Bogor. Weed variations were collected from subplots (50x50 square centimeter) in the mainplot (20x20 square centimeter) by diagonal system at each area. The result showed that at sweet potato planting it can be found 7 families (8 species), whereas after planting it can be found 6 families (10 species). Ageratum conyzoides L. and Euphorbia hirta L. were dominant
