Tocopherols content of sunflower oil growth in different locations in Iraq.

Oil from seeds of sunflower cultivars (grown at different locations in Iraq) showed high differences in its content of toco-pherol (&and B+&) as analysed by GLC the & tocopherol is the predominant one in all cultivars and locations, as compared to B and 8 tocopherols the local cultivars, grownat Mousal and Baghdad as well as peridovk cultivars grown in Baghdad showed high values of &-tocopherols which, exceeded the human requirements from vitamine E.
