Aim of investigations is to study influence of preparatory and concluding operations of machine milking on full milking of first-calf cows on diverse milking installations. Investigations are carried out in a private peasant economy (PPE) ALMA-ATA of Talgar region Almaty oblast on installations of Israel make - milk room. The domestic milking installation MOLOKOPROVOD (Milk Line) - ADM-8A-2 was taken as the control installation. Milking technology in milk rooms differs from line milking by full absence of individual approach to animals and deficit of stimulation for milk flow, and this doesn`t lead to full reflex of milk flow. First-calf cows who were milked in the milk room at not full premilking stimulation had the time of latent period of milk flow reflex by 21,7 s (23,9 percent ) more, the time of "idle" milking at the beginning of milking - by 19,6 s (35,7 percent ) more. Final operation "machine milking" allows to milk dry from the udder and prevents the first-calf cows from early self-drying-off.
