[Ultrastructural peculiarity of pig eye cornea]

Corneal ultrastructural peculiarities determine its transparency and vision. Presented data of ultrastructural peculiarities of the pig eye cornea were obtained by light and electronic microscopy. Anterior epithelium of the pig eye makes up 11.6 of all corneal thickness; there are two types of cells in this layer - light and dark ones, which contained a various amount of microfilament; posterior epithelium of the pig cornea makes up 1.3 of all corneal thickness as cell are flat and their nucleus are elongated
