The article deals with the state of fields and greenhouse vegetable production in Lithuania in the course of agricultural reform in recent years. Problems related to integrated vegetable production in Lithuania are raised. Latest cultivation techniques for field and greenhouse vegetables are discussed for the production of abundant and high quality yield. In the article there are raised main problems in plant protection. Main task of reorganization of Lithuanian storage facilities are emphasised. Essential technological requirements for vegetable storage with minimal losses are presented in the work.
