Development peculiarities of Coccomyces hiemalis Higg. and investigation of means inhibiting prevalence of sour cherry coccomycosis

Specific diversity of leaf micromycetes has been investigated in stone fruits that grow in different agroclimatic zones of Lithuania. According to the manifestation rate of species and pathogenecity, 15 fungal species have been established. Development peculiarities of coccomycosis pathogen Coccomyces hiemalis Higg. have been investigated in media and natural background. Dependence of coccomycosis prevalence on meteorological conditions and susceptibility of the cultivar has been ascertained. Cherry cultivars have been estimated and subdivided into groups according to susceptibility to coccomycosis. Efficiency of new fungicides against cherry coccomycosis has been investigated.
