Lactamin full-bodied nutritive additives "Effekt Hog" and "Effekt Normal" for goats

The aim of the trial carried out with lacteting goats on the peasant farm "Apini" in the Jelgava region (Latvia) in the autumn of 1997 was to try the effect of the nutritive additives "Effekt Hog" and "Effekt Normal" (made in Sweden) in the ration for goats as well as to determine the influence of these preparations on goats' productivity and milk quality. The results of the trial showed that "Effekt Normal" increased milk yield, dry matter content in milk, protein and sugar content in milk as well as reduced consumption of feeding units and digestible protein compared to the control group.
