In two field trials the efficiency of fertilizers was tested in the following treatments: 1) NPK 9-9-18 + 8 CaO (basic fertilizer, containing no chlorine); 2) NPK 9-9-18 + CaO (basic fertilizer) + Mg, S and micronutrients in additional fertilizing; 3) NPK 11-11-20 + 5 CaO, Mg, S and micronutrients as basic fertilizer (chlorine containing fertilizer). The threatment NPK 9-9-18 + 8 CaO + micronutrients ensured the highest yield and content of starch in tubers in both trials.
