In solving environment protection problems it is important to obtain objective and precise parameters characterizing the condition of a definite environment. The quality of an environment must be measured by indicators and their critical values. The general indicators for the evaluation of environment sustainability have been calculated. As the result of the analysis of some inter-relations of human activities and the environment the following important parameters have been established: minimum level of living quality - a0, energy of human activity - Q, standard environment quality - b, intensity of the quality loss - a. Parameters Q can be regulated to obtain the sustainability in a region. Particular indicators for urbanoecosystems are presented. These indicators have been calculated for the evaluation of air, water and territory pollution.
