This study evaluated the performance of six tomato varieties in three different planting seasons = regular (Nov-Jan), dry (Mar-May) and wet (Jul-Sep) to select varieties that could be grown all year round. Shalom outyielded Apollo (farmers' variety) and other entries with yields of 53.9, 29.9 and 14.0 t/ha in the regular, dry and wet seasons, respectively. Shalom and EG Alton were the earliest to mature in both regular and dry seasons at 80-82 days after emergence (DAE). Shalom consistently had the most number of marketable fruits/5 sq m plots in all seasons ranging from 290-1,133. Yield across seasons showed that regular planting produced the highest average yield of 45.22 t/ha. Yield across varieties and seasons showed that Shalom bested other entries with 32.6 t/ha, followed by Apollo (28.4 t/ha). Wet planting had the most profitable income with almost 26 percent increase over the regular and dry season planting
