Seedlings were produced in a glasshouse and planted in mid-May. Fruits were harvested as they ripened. They were sorted into grades I and II and culled small, diseased and shapeless fruits. In ripe fruits, the content of dry matter, vitamin C, organic acids and sugars were determined. It was found that in the conditions of Olsztyn, the Polish cultivars appeared the best croppers
