Influence of multi- and single-component fertilizers on yields and some qualitative properties of winter triticale and spring barley

Both the multicomponent and singlecomponent fertilizers significantly increased the yield of grain and straw of winter triticale and spring barley compared with control. Except for two cases, the differences in the yield received from plots where the fertilization was applied were insignificant. The contents of phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium and sulphur in grains and straw of cereals investigated were similar. Only the content of nitrogen and, thereby, total protein in grains of winter triticale following the application of polimag 303, single-component fertilizers and hydropan C were higher than those of control.
