The work presents the results relative to the effect of IAA, GA3 and kinetin on the sulphur sulphate (S-SO4) content in barley plants. The experiments were carried out in greenhouse conditions in the years 1990-92. The growth regulators were used as a twice and threefold foliar spray. The growth substances influenced the sulphur content in barley plants, depended on genotype and part of plants analysed. All of applied substances increased S-SO4 concentration in the cv Piast, in the greatest degree GA3 in the roots and kinetin in the above ground parts. The three growth regulators increased sulphur content in the roots of cv Bomi. In above ground parts of that cultivar, kinetin and auxin increased capacity of S-SO4 only after a treefold foliar spray
