The works gives qualitative and quantitative changes of the topical reaction of spruce needles protoplasm, their electric conductivity, neutralisation capacity, total acidity, water content and assimilation pigments (chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, carotenoids sum) content in the last three years of spruce needles (Picea abies Karst.) in the altitude of 1325 m and 600 m. Measurements and analyses results confirmed the differences in dependence on climatic conditions in the topical year and ontogenetic changes as well. From the view point of Forest stands vitality evaluation, especially ontogenetic differences of the analysed markers values are significant in comparison with the results obtained in previous periods
