Selection and test of sugarcane hybrids Kamphaengsaen series year 1989, 1991 and 1992 quantity of 10, 100 and 150 numbers respectively had been carried in April 1996 in Kasetsart Univ., Kamphaengsaen campus at Nakorn Pathom Province and at farmer's field in Supanburi Province. Experimental design was randomized complete block with 4 replications. The plant was harvested in May 1997. Two numbers of 1989 hybrids were selected as its promising character of fast growing, drought tolerance high yield (17-20 ton/rai) and CCS of 11-14 which are number 89-1-20 and 89-1-26 and 55 and 89 numbers were selected from 1991 and 1992 hybrids respectively which will be planted for next year selection and testing.
